In 2007 we began the Psalm 16 Campaign to raise funds for much needed capital improvements, primarily restorations to the Pool Camp facilities and to the Main Lodge with an expansion of the waste water treatment plant. We have received approximately $1,400,000 in pledges on this campaign.

However, we are facing a shortfall in operating revenues because of general economic conditions and also because of decreasing use of camp. We have implemented a business plan that involves active marketing to churches and other groups. But most of the fruit from that effort will not be realized until 2010. In the meantime, our expenses are continuing.

You can help save Sumatanga by...
