Senior High Camp
Senior High Camp is an opportunity for high schoolers and soon to be college freshmen to engage their faith personally, as well as in their church, community and the world.
Our three director teams each have a unique approach to our senior high camp experiences. Here's what they had to say about their camps.
Senior High 1 is at its core experiential. Come and experience authentic Christian community, make new friends, and grow in your faith. We won’t just hear the good news about God delivers through Jesus Christ, we'll experience it through music, visuals, dance, prayer, and all of the senses. We'll learn about becoming the body of Christ in the today's world. We are part of an ongoing story. You have a role to play in that story. We'll laugh a lot, play a lot, dance a lot, and end up a little bit closer to God than when we started out.
Senior High II emphasizes personal spiritual growth. During the week, youth will experience all the fun camp activities associated with Camp Sumatanga such as hiking, games in the Chigger Bowl, folk dancing, and swimming. They will also experience powerful worship services in the evening and the daily small groups focus on living a Christian lifestyle. Our goal is for the youth to leave this camp better prepared to live out their faith in a teenaged world.
Senior High Leadership Camp will help youth uncover and understand their spiritual gifts for ministry within their community and local. the goal is to not only help them become more involved in church and campus ministry, but to approach everything in life empowered by God's grace and blessing so that they are living lives of faithful leaders.
Each camp session features a special guest speaker! Check in begins on Sunday at 4:00 p.m. at the Pool Camp Assembly Hall and check-out begins at 4:00 p.m. on Friday of each week.
