Recreation Facilities
Sumatanga offers endless recreational opportunities for the young and old alike. The 55-acre lake is ideal for paddle boating, canoeing, and fishing. By the Lake, at the McBee Camping Area are sites both for tent and RV camping, with covered pavillions nearby for picnicing groups as large as 500. The pavillions near the lake may be rented for picnics.
At Sumatanga, there’s something for everyone.
Energetic guests can choose from a variety of activities-- softball, soccer, tennis, basketball, ping-pong, and swimming the Olympic size pool. For adventuresome visitors, the mountains offer miles of hiking trails, rock climbing, and repelling.
