Elementary Camp

ALL Elementary Camps serve rising 4th, 5th, and 6th graders.

Elementary Camp is a place where campers grow as disciples of Jesus Christ by offering opportunities for spiritual, physical, and emotional growth. Campers are organized into family groups with each group led by the same 2-3 counselors all week long. The entire day at Elementary Camp is scheduled with activities. Camper check-in begins each Sunday at 4:00 pm on the Front Porch of the Sumatanga Lodge. Parents are welcome to attend a closing program, each Friday at 4:00 pm. Check-out will begin at 5:00 pm. The cost of camp includes snacks, crafts, a t-shirt, and pictures for the week.

Lodging

All elementary campers are housed in the Sumatanga Lodge. All rooms are air-conditioned and contain two bunk beds for (4) total campers in a room. The Dining Hall and Auditorium are also air-conditioned.

What to bring

Bible, 2 pairs of comfortable shoes, sunscreen, toiletries, towels, a water bottle, 2 changes of clothes per day, flip-flops, bedding for a twin bed mattress, a pillow, paper and pencil, insect repellent, rain gear, appropriate sleepwear, plastic bags for wet clothes, and creek wading shoes. Campers may bring money for the Thursday night Communion offering.
